228.6 lbs!!!

I'm down another 2ish pounds since I last wrote! I can't remember the last time I've been in the 220's....probably high school. Well, I did get to it in college, but that was with diet pills.

So this feels great, and a lot of my loose clothing are falling off me now. here's to keepin' on keepin' on!

mini golf...

...is a good propeller for being active. I visited w/ a friend from college who i haven't seen in a couple years, and we did mini golf and ice cream (and a hot dog...mmmm). So I decided when I got home that I wanted to continue being outside and take advantage of the slightly cooler weather (due to the thunder storm), so I went out for a run. I only did half what I typically do (1 mile vs 2), but that was the most I felt I could do. I'm proud that I went out and did it...at least it's 1 mile not none. I just want to keep keeping active no matter how small...it'll build up from there. so yay!

18 lbs down!!!

I just weighed myself today and I'm at 231!! I started at 249.5 back in mid/late February...so I've lost 18 lbs in 4 months. I'm feeling pretty great about it - especially since I'm down a size (size 16s baby!). T and I made a pact that we would make it a goal for me to get down into the 'teens' (219 or under) by Labor day, and she down to the 205 range. Keep your fingers crossed for us - we're both doing great!

running by the ocean...

...is amazing for the soul! I was in Newport, RI this past week and went sailing Tues-Fri....managed to go running twice. I did 2 miles both times (yay!) but took a 30 - 90 min. break at the half way point, just sitting on the rocks and looking out. SO, not hardcore running, but I did hardcore for two-15 minute sets of time :)

The cool thing is I can feel my boobs and my stomach getting smaller. Like when I draw my knees up to my chest to curl up and read a book (or, OK, more realistically, to tool around on my laptop), I can curl up a l'il tighter. So, good times...I was down 12 lbs a couple weeks back from my starting weight in February (and that was on a full stomach), so I'm hoping that I'm even less now...maybe down 15lbs total. That would be fab! I feel like when I go running or am active and out in the sun a lot, my appetite is much less - I'll eat 1/2 - 1 cup of food at a meal....and I crave light stuff....so it feels good all the way around.
